Cutting in-between Holly Hill Mall and Publix

On August 26, at approximately 11:21 a.m., the Burlington Police Department responded to a call for service for an individual being cut. Officers believe the incident occurred in the alleyway between The Holly Hill Mall and Publix. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The incident did not cause the closure of any businesses in the area. This was an isolated incident.
 
The investigation is ongoing. Officers are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case. The name
of the victim is being withheld at this time due to safety concerns.
